The Confrontation With Russia-Just Another Oil War

Why the American Confrontation with Russia is About Oil

With the news of Russia annexing Crimea dying down, and giving way to reports of a possible coup in Ukraine- which certain sections of the media have also attributed to Russia- it is easy to feel the tension building up as the U.S contemplates a possible Military 'response' to the situation.

The purpose of this article is to alert the world that our minds are being manipulated! Yes, the economic and political interests that stand to gain from a NATO military action against the Russian Federation (Also Known As the American Elite) are trying to cajole us, by feeding us one-sided "news" of an urgent need to bombard Russia, thus herding us to into sheep-like submission as they remove the only obstacle to their domination of the world, and its vast oilfields.
It is hoped that through this article the reader sees why Russia's recent land-grabbing spree (if true) may be a good thing, and why it should be allowed to continue.

A Necessary Evil

Without any attempt to exonerate Russia, her alleged actions may be necessary to promote world peace because despite infringing upon the Rights of the Government and People of the Sovereign State of Ukraine, they oppose American Power.
And how is that a good thing? Why should this observer not be charged with treason?

Power Corrupts

In the words of Norman Vincent Peale: "The trouble with most of us is that we would rather be ruined by praise than be saved by criticism." The American government should therefore be criticized and opposed because without such the whole world would descend into horrors similar to that of the NAZI era. Those who find it impossible to imagine an American President playing the role of Hitler; killing and mutilating unarmed civilians should check the facts presented in the following paragraph. Then it is hoped they will see why America must be opposed-vigorously.

U.S Invasion of Iraq

President George Bush Jr's invasion in 2003, of Iraq, on the grounds of location and destruction of her alleged stockpile of chemical and biological weapons of mass destruction, despite a United Nations resolution against it, and despite hundreds of thousands of people gathering to protest against it, (1) demonstrates a clear disregard for the will of the people who in this case had the better judgment.

The People were Right, Bush was Wrong

After over 5 years and 66,081 civilian deaths, (2) no evidence was found supporting the claim that Iraq produced, or even had in its possession any Weapons of Mass Destruction. Several Journalists and Aid Workers were also killed by U.S Air Strikes, (3) all in a wild goose chase.

Will Russia Save the World from America?

In this writer's opinion, this act of possible genocide would not have occurred if there had been strong enough opposition, probably from a rival political and military power. It is with that in mind that this writer strongly urges the Kremlin to continue its land-grabbing antics, so as to create a wedge between itself and America, consolidate its military might, and through its growing power and influence bring about a system of checks and balances, thus saving the world from the Capitalists who control the American Government, and their willingness to destroy countries like Iraq so as to service their greed, (4) regardless of the impact of their actions on their own soldiers, as well as innocent civilians.

It seems now that the media supports a NATO intervention, as it supported the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq. News reports depicting a state of Anarchy in Ukraine, and pointing Russia as the cause should not be swallowed blindly. Any serious observer should endeavor to get information from the troubled ground itself, if possible, without the help of the Western Media. Otherwise, the populace will be driven into a frenzy and a war to crush Russia will be declared. If that happens the scale of power would swing heavily in favor of America, and we could lose the chance to see some vital checks and balances.

Without the aforementioned checks and balances it is only a matter of time before the American Government transforms into an uncontrollable war-machine, killing Arabs with impunity. Posterity will not judge us kindly if we fold our arms and watch the world deteriorate.
