2,000 Nurses Protest Keystone XL Pipeline on the Golden Gate Bridge

On Thurs / June 20, 2013, at 12:00 noon more than two thousand nurses who had traveled across the county and the globe, walked San Francisco's Golden Gate Bridge in protest of massive environmental damage they anticipate will be caused by gummy tar sands and inevitable toxic oil leaks from the Keystone XL Pipeline bisecting the U.S. from Canada to Mexico. They cite limited economic benefits with few jobs going to U.S. citizens and most of the oil being shipped abroad. The nurses want President Obama to shut down the pipeline project NOW!
