Disease outbreak, National Park Service fails our family.

Even though the National Park Service's budget is close to 3 Billion dollars a year, not one 25 cent poster in Yellowstone National Park was evident in the park warning us of the huge Norovirus outbreak 2 weeks ago. Innocently and trustingly, we paid the entrance fee and later checked into the Old Faithful Inn, not knowing hundreds of visitors to the park had fallen to this contagious disease that kills 800 people a year. 3 of our family contracted this gastro-intestinal illness that hits you like a truck and keeps you down for 2 days or so. Since visitors come from all over the world to visit this national wonder, alerting the public to this danger is crucial in combatting noroviral disease so that the CDC recommendations could be followed to control the spread of this disease in airports and airplanes around the globe. Weeks passed before one poster was put up and we trusted we would be protected by a governmental agency. Were we wrong! Our 5 year old granddaughter became ill. A global epidemic could have been the result of the Park Service's negligence. Because hundreds of visitors were exposed to norovirus disease without their knowledge, I believe congressional hearings should be held to investigate why the National Park Service was reluctant to act in a timely manner. Diseases do not wait for bureaucrats.
