The Question Nobody’s asked about Obamacare/the Affordable health care act.

I sit here and listen to the daily diatribe about the drawbacks and frustrations of the healthcare.gov website and affordable healthcare. I hear about the positive advances, like not being denied because of a pre-existing condition or the removal of the financial cap for treatment needed. I’ve even tried to apply to Covered California, to no avail. The error page came up after about ten minutes after a bit of browsing and of questions filled in. I’ve had an insurance agent out to my house to discuss possible plans, and still haven’t made up my mind.
But when it comes down to it, the reality of this bill, this mandate, I have to ask why anyone would want to opt into the US Healthcare system at all? I mean that stuff could kill ya. The name, healthcare is an oxymoron in this country because very little of what happens in the U.S. medical world is about Care. The clinic in our town gives doctors’ a timer so they don’t go over ten minutes with a patient. The Dr. we saw didn’t know what shingles were and excused himself to go look it up on the internet. So I ask you. What is it we are supposed to buy, what are we insuring after all? In other words, Who’s getting paid?
Well right of the bat, insurance companies like Blue Cross, Kaiser Permenente, Humana Health Services and Aetna etc. billions of dollars
And then, drum roll please…..The biggest the baddest the nastiest bastards in the room, The Pharmaceutical industry. These federal subsidies from Medicare go to these companies! And then the Insurance Co. pays them for their many, poisonous, homicidal, sickening potions. Do you hear the side effects that they dutifully announce on everyone of their TV commercials? Side effects may include, diarrhea, headaches, stroke, depression, suicidal thoughts, vaginal bleeding, cancer, heart attack, flu like symptoms, dizziness, oh and of course, nausea. But with health care you get a discount on all that.
The Pharmaceutical industrial Complex are invading the minds and bodies of our soldiers and our children who are our youngest must vulnerable ones being bombarded with synthetic chemical compounds for simply not paying attention at school, (never mind seeing that the kids have a good breakfast), just put them on respirdal or prozac.I don’t think that these doctors understand what harm they are doing. We should remind them of their oath every time we walk into their offices.

If you look back at all the massacres and random obscene murders you can be sure the shooter is on prescription drugs. Columbines, Aurora, Virginia Tech.

I’ve been to the hospital many times, not for myself but for my mother and as I navigated the straights filled with chomping surgical alligators I could see the disassociation from doctor to doctor. My mother was just a heart, or a brain, a couple of kidneys. Her Pharmaceutical cocktails made her psychotic. If I or my brother had not been there to monitor the Drs orders my mother would have died a terrible death instead of living out her days and dying quietly in her bed.

We are insuring, or paying for hundreds of thousands iatrogenic accidents and incidents a year. Iatrogenic is a term that refers to injury or illness caused by the Hospital and the doctors and nurses therein. Overdoses, misdiagnosis, the wrong medication, accidentally severing the bladder, fusing the nerves in the pelvis during a routine hysterectomy, causing paralyzation in the lower abdomen after a routine cesarean, amputating the wrong limb, introducing anti biotic resistant staff infections, feeding patients toxic commercial diets, and prescribing medications that have so many contra-indications and deleterious side effects one may possibly and probably will die. Now I know there are times of emergency where one must go, one chooses to go to save one’s life. I understand that. A broken bone is a good time to make a visit! So If you do end up in a hospital please be advised to have an advocate, one that can read and watch for side effects from the prescription drugs you will be given. There is usually a paperback PDR (Physicians desk reference) at the nurses’ station for easy reference.

And the US Health care’s systems crowning achievement: The Fight against Cancer straight out of Dante’s hell a barbaric combination Radiation that burns their bodies so badly the skin bubbles and Chemotherapy that uses cytotoxins to attack and kill rapidly dividing cells, but there are cells like that in your bones! And stomach lining, so they get killed too. And the result of the chemotherapy is immunosupression when it is clearly time to build and strengthen the immune system. These modalities are contraindicated for a patient already weak with cancer. Chemotherapy and Radiation make you so sick that you truly want to die. (See above for the list of side effects, but throw in alopecia. That’s your hair falling out). They subject children to these treatments as well! And even after all that, with frightening regularity, the next thing the families hear is “there’s nothing more we can do, but make your loved one comfortable” Until another clinical trial funded by you and me rolls around and they need another guinea pig. This scenario happens to thousands of people every day under our Health Care umbrella.
Frankly I don’t not need or want that kind of coverage for myself or my family. It just doesn’t make sense. You wonder; well then how on earth will I survive without the US healthcare system. Everybody gets sick, Everybody dies . Right. You go your way and I’ll go mine.
I tell you that because I am insured by nature and nurture. I believe in the healing properties of plants like cayenne, lemon, peppermint, oregano and the physical maintenance of the body through Chiropractic, acupuncture, yoga, massage, diet, exercise, fresh air, organic food, music, love, laughter, dancing, dog friends and human ones too. I know too, for a fact, that there is a hearty plant that grows on this earth that will also provide the greatest healthcare of all but it’s illegal under Federal Law: That is the Female plant Cannabis Sativa. The Male plant is Hemp and if grown will also be the ingredient for the restoration of our depleted topsoil and provide us with local industries for paper, building materials, fuel, proteins, clothing, etc. healing our economy as well.
The properties of this Ancient pillar of the plant world, Cannabis, also contain the cure for cancer. There I said it. The Cure. And not only that, but it provides some of the best anti-depressants on the planet. The raw green leaf of the Female plant contains the organic compounds to cure cancer and relieve many other degenerative diseases from Arthitis, to lymes Disease, to Diabetes. All in the raw leaf without the psychoactive influence of the THC. The concentrated oil of the plant is a proven folk remedy for cancers in the lungs, prostate and breasts. The side effects are appetite, pain relief, euphoria, rest, sleep, remission.
The war on Cannabis must end. The states are demanding it. 20 states and counting. Just this week 4 big localities in Michigan Legalized. Portland, Maine the first city on the East Coast to legalize possession of up to 2.5 ounces of marijuana for adults over 21. Question 1 was approved by about 70% of the vote. Republicans and Democrats actually are agreeing more and more with these sentiments and the President Himself has been to the mountaintop. So, I say forget The Affordable healthcare Act and Legalize Marijuana and Hemp. Let’s put the Care back in our System and Legalize Cannabis and Hemp Now!
