New name....same ol' Klan

The Council of Conservative Citizens was, until 1985, known as the "White Citizen's Council," and was responsible for the death of Medgar Evers, the Freedom Riders, and numerous other atrocities during the push for Civil Rights in the 1960's. They now try to pass themselves off as a "neocon activist group" but a perusal of their statement of principles reveals the same ol' Klan...don't it boys?

One of the planks in their political platform is to eliminate the public school system through defunding and replace it with a system of charter schools. The lowest performing students would then be tossed from the rolls (in their minds, blacks and other minorities) leaving the student body as all-white.

Kinda puts Tom Corbett's educational policies in PA in a whole new light, doesn't it?
