Fraudulators

I call it "FRAUDULATING" (new word, I made it up, you can't have it). You already know what it means. Purposely, perpetuate the false perception of which one is, in an attempt to be perceived as to belong to some higher social order, or higher being, to be worshiped. (Talk about living in a movie) Been using the word for most of my adult life, and often got a giggle from others when they first heard it. Certainly, they also got the meaning right off. They know who the "fraudulators" are in their lives. It is much easier to identify who isn't, comfortable with themselves, humble, and honest. Unaffected by the declarations of others.

Introspection, a long and difficult journey, in pursuit of the knowledge of who you are. This ain't that Hippy crap from the 'love generation'. But reflection, followed by an inner discussion of what you believe, and why. Followed by another long inner discussion determining one's core values. Followed yet again, by more inner discussions testing the results of the previous. (Requires talking to yourself)

No, not to tune into the most respected talk shows, to find out what you believe, or read a magazine to find out what your favorite celeb believes. Or finding it in your social circle. Although that does help to maintain friendships. But how honest is that? If one cannot present themselves as whom they are among friends? It's all just a string of clichés is all. Lost all meaning, but sounds, and looks good coming out of the mouth. Important to be seen saying...

Simply put, "What you truly believe in, and why'. Very few Americans do this. Simply gliding through life, not having done the heavy lifting within themselves. No moral compass.

You can call It "me time" if you like. (That's all modern Americans need is another excuse to be selfish, in my opinion, all true personal strength left America with our previous generation), but yes, if one like's, one could call it me time. We have all heard the athletes, and so called celebs, touting one cause celeb or another. All trying to get those words out, the words they want the world to hear and see them say. Not what they believe, it is how one is perceived, as opposed to who they are. "Fraudulating", each and every one.

Sadly though, one would have to ask 'is the fraudulator simply enacting a behavior' and touting positions consistent with how they perceive themselves as opposed to knowing who they are? Coming to a conclusion about your true positions on, often controversial issues, may not be in concert with your previous desired view of yourself, but it would be honest.

Honestly, more value come from an association with an individual with an honest opposing view, earned through honest reflection, than from someone who simply regurgitates the common, socially acceptable diatribe.

Inner reflections of this nature are the most difficult work one would accomplish in their lifetimes. And the work is never truly complete. Ever... As we mature, we must revisit previous assumptions, and often adjust them to align with new or newly addressed issues. Then trade assumptions with facts, then start all over. Not an overnight thing, or a weekend at a spirit camp, (More fraudulators). Or even rehab.

Unless one has done the heavy lifting, the hard work, the introspection, the best suggestion would be to just listen. Learn from those who have. And most important of all. Don't talk, don't... just... don't.

Praying for tolerance. How we can live among people of all belief systems, and not be tolerant of those beliefs. One doesn't have to go long, nowadays, but to hear another de-validation of another for his/her beliefs or values. First lesson in debate. De-validation of a position holder does not in any way de-validate the position. You cannot win an argument by de-validating the opposition’s argument. De-validation is not debate. Although we pay a lot of talking heads to do just that and we call it entertainment, i.e. Maher, Beck, Olbermann, etc. But it's an idiots game, and dishonest. Spurious, specious, unauthentic. But it is what they do. The de-validation of others is morally corrupt to the point, that those guilty of it actually de-validate themselves as a legitimate debater.

In America, all peoples, from all back grounds, from anywhere and everywhere, are welcome. And thank God for it. In God's eyes, and in all those who place a value in others, each bring equal values to the mixture 'America'

In the end I have learned a valuable lesson, from an entirely unexpected culture, that of the homosexual. Let me explain. One does not have to go too far back, or wait too long to hear yet another individual report that he/she has "come out of the closet". Often stating that without public acclamation of who he/she truly is, they were living a lie. Well, simply put, I respect that. Be who you are... If you truly know. And I will do the same. So I recently came out of the closet. Not as a homosexual, I am very hetero. But as who I am. A card carrying, flag waving, Christian Conservative, male chauvinist, chivalrous, sexist pig. Now I am to expect, with this information being out, I can behave as I truly am, unguarded. But most importantly, as an honest man, true to himself.

Yet, we judge each other, dishonestly, on false assumptions, and inappropriate perceptions, and with ill intent. We are all judge and why shouldn't we? Yea, I know what your are thinking! Do not judge, lest you be judged. Let me make this plain, in order to make it easy for the fraudulators.

Scripture says, and I quote "Do not judge, lest you be judged". Matthew 7:1. This is not a commandment, or demand. It is a single line in a series, within a series of serious discussions regarding human interpersonal relationships. Christ teaching us how he wants us to treat each other, as individuals as well as the group dynamic.

The single line simply means, in the context, that you will be judged in the same spirit and intent you used in your judgment of others. If your spirit is pure/pious, your judgments will reflect that, then you have no worries. But the scripture goes on, but is not used by the fraudulators, for it does not suit their purpose in their guise to discredit. If you are intent to judge, do it with a pure heart and with good intent.

So go ahead and judge each other, this life is short and the more you look like idiots, the better I look in God's eyes.
