The 1% are pushing us and pushing us; they're trying to goad us into revolution--actual, in-the-streets revolution, the overthrow-the-government kind. I'm not in favor of that kind, & I don't think most other people are--or, at least, not in our saner, calmer moments.

But this sort of thing [the Wall Street frauds; jailing Chelsea Manning for 35 years; forcing Edward Snowden into exile; Flint's water supply; the DAPL; recouping enlistment and re-elistment bonuses from veterans (with interest) is definitely inflamatory; screwing up elections; fraudulently reporting election results; police shootings of unarmed, innocent persons, etc., etc., etc.] is definitely--and, perhaps intentionally, inflammatory.

Now, please, everyone, sit down, sometime in the next 24 hours, & CONCENTRATE:  One of two things is true, maybe both, & we all need to think about both very carefully, NOW, right away:

(1) We've put up with so much; been stepped on so often, for so long; been (from the oligarchs' point of view) so successfully quashed, herded, and trampled; that the 1% either (a) must have failed to notice that we're growing hot under the collar, or (b) must not believe that our little rants and temper tantrums are worth worrying about, or ever will explode into something far more serious.

(2) They HAVE noticed, and are ready and waitng for just that to happen.  I think, given how little they care about public health issues, the effects of continuous warfare, or the looming disaster of climate change and enviromental degradation, that they believe that all problems stem from there being too many people on the planet.  If that's so, physical revolution by the 99% may be exactly what they're trying to force--and is what they regard as a golden opportunity they'll use to reduce planetary population drastically.
