The media seems to be at odds trying to figure out what Occupy is about. It should be obvious that the 1% have their feet at our necks. But there is one way to make the establishment, the corporation heel to. Make a law that defines any company, corporation or business that gives money to any politician as BRIBERY, and that it is a serious felony for both the giver and the recipient with a penalty of 10 years in prison.

Of course such a statute would not get through any legislature today. However many states like California have citizen initiatives, and such a law could be passed by thoughtful voters. You may ask what good would it do for our federal government? Considering the politicians are in DC and the corporations are every where, the bribery would be an offense to all citizens of California even if the act took place elsewhere, and most companies have some kind of operation in California.

Our Constitution provides us with the right to govern ourselves, and we should be able to stop corruption at the source by charging and convicting anyone giving from a business to a politician as an act of bribery. Just a few CEO's and Congressmen behind bars for bribery will shut the corruption of government down. We have more than enough prison space if we let those convicted of using drugs go on parole, enough to put the entire 1% and all the politicians out of action for a decade.
